Village   Temples   Trek
  • This trek is for the Himalayan connoisseur, beginning in Manali and continuing into the beautiful Kangra valley. The scenery is magnificent, and very few visitors follow this route. Village life, unchanged for centuries, is shaped largely by belief in Hindu gods and goddesses living in the mountains. Our final destination, however, is the Tibetan Buddhist center of Dharamsala, home to the Dalai Lama and a vibrant Tibetan community.
  • Day    01 :    Arrive     Delhi

    Your village temple trekking tour will start with your Delhi arrival. On our travel manger will greet you in a proper Indian traditional way with garlands. Aboard A/ C deluxe cab and proceed for your pre-booked hotel with your travel manger. Check in at your hotel. Overnight stay.
  • Day    02 :     Delhi - Kullu - Manali

    You can reach Manali by two ways either you can take flight to Kullu, which will take 3 hrs to reach Bhunter (Kullu). Else you can opt for 17 hrs drive for Kullu by luxury coach. From Kullu you will continue by jeep to Manali. Manali is 40 KM drive from Kulu. Arrive and check in at hotel. Overnight stay.
  • Day    03 :     Manali

    Manali (2050 m), a place of breath taking natural beauty, is one of the most popular hill stations of Himalayan range. Let us take you to a sight seeing tour of this exquisite heaven on earth. You will visit some important areas around this beautiful place including Rohtang Pass- Snow Point, Solang Valley, Vaishist, Manu Tample (2 km) etc. After a day long sightseeing tour come back to your hotel where a hot and steamy dinner is waiting for you. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day    04 :     Manali

    Have a leisured breakfast at hotel. Day is free for your individual recreation. You can take a stroll to the local markets, visit old monasteries.
  • Day    05 :     Manali - Lamadug

    On your first day of trekking tour you will trek out of Manali to the open paddock of Lamadug. First you will trek to The Hadimba Devi Temple, which is around 2 to3 km from Manali. You will trek through thick forest after Hadimba Temple. Then you will reach Indersan (6,220m.) and Deo Tibba (6,001m.) peaks. From there you will proceed for the camp site of Lamadug for overnight stay.
  • Day    06 :     Lamadug - Riyali

    From here your trekking guide will take you to Riyali, just beyond the timberline. Trek through the Thanpari Tibba (4,000m) pass and relish the full view of beautiful Manali town and upper Kullu valley. Continue your trekking and arrive at Ranisui Lake (small). Have your lunch and follow the trail only to arrive at the camping place of Riyali Thach or Thach meadows. Nightlong stay.
  • Day    07 :     Riyali - Kali Yani pass

    Continue your trekking to the Kali Yani pass (4,640m). You will trail through a rocky path, along a snowy glacier. From Kali Yani pass (4,640m) you will have a panoramic view of the adjacent major peaks of Kullu and Lahoul valley. You will spend your whole nights at base camp of Kali Yani pass.
  • Day    08 :     Rest day

    Today you can sleep few more hours as it is your rest day. Spend your day as you wish to. Rejuvenate yourself for your next trekking destination.
  • Day    09 :     Kali Yani Pass - Donku Thach

    Get you and refresh yourself for today's trekking. Today your trekking destination will be Dhan ko thach. Crossing the pass, and hazardous rivers in various ways, arrive at the base camp of Dhan ko thach. Thach is locally called meadows.
  • Day    10 :     Donku Thach - Lamapar

    Descend down with your travel guide towards the shepherd camp at Lamapar. You will surely going to remember this scenic trekking trail. Overnight stay.
  • Day    11 :     Lamapar - Dalmarhi

    Trek through a lush dale. Climb up to the crests and then descend down to your camp at Dalmarhi. Overnight stay.
  • Day    12 :     Dalmarhi - Bara bhangal Village

    From Dalmarhi, trek for the Bara bhangal Village. Post lunch you will reach first village in 7 days. Overnight stay.
  • Day    13 :     Bara bhangal

    This isolated village opens only four or five months in a year. Legendary Himalayan shepherds are the main populace of this area. They lead a nomadic life. During autumn they return to their isolated existence in the village. Interact with the local folks and know more about their life. Treat yourself with local cuisines. Overnight stay.
  • Day    14 :     Bara bhangal - Thamser Pass

    After crossing a bridge near Bara Bangahal, you will be walking through the forest. Later reach at the beautiful meadows of Thamsar pass (4,700 mtrs.) After 2 hours of walking, arrive at base camp. Overnight stay.
  • Day    15 :     Thamser Pass - Panihartu

    From Thamsar pass you will enjoy a trekking along the panoramic view of Dhauladhar range of Himalayas today. Enjoy a very satisfying stroll through an abundant bristle trail. After descending 5 kms, you will reach at Panihartu campsite. Nightlong stay.
  • Day    16 :     Panihartu - Palachak

    Morning after breakfast, you will trek along the river and through the woods to the tiny settlements of the picturesque area with your trekking manger. Its scenic establishment has given this place a magical, surrealistic appearance. Trek through the woods and after crossing bridge reach Palachak Deota. Overnight at camp.
  • Day    17 :     Palachak - Biling

    In your Last day of trekking you will trek through the more peopled villages and areas. After crossing several small parishes you will reach at the base camp of Biling. Overnight stay.
  • Day    18 :     Biling - Dharamshala

    Enjoy an early morning drive to Dharamsala. (65 Km). Travel by jeep to reach this stunning holiday resort. Arrive and check in at your pre booked hotel. Afternoon visit the local Buddhist monasteries and the town's colorful marketplace. Overnight stay.
  • Day    19-20 :     Dharamshala

    Dharamsala, with a bouquet of experiences, allures tourists from all around the globe. After breakfast you will have glimpse of this beautiful hill resort. Place of tourist interests around Dharamsala includes Tsuglagkhang Temple, Norbulinka Institute, St. John's Church, Masrur, Triund etc. Two night stay.
  • Day    21 :     Dharamshala - Amritsar

    From here you will drive to Amritsar with your travel manger. On arrival check in at your hotel and relax. Afternoon, you will visit the site of the famous Golden Temple and other interesting places. Overnight there.
  • Day    22 :     Amritsar - Delhi

    After breakfast you will be transferred to railway station to board on an early morning express train to Delhi. Arrive and check into a hotel for an overnight stay.
  • Day    23 :     Departure

    Morning after breakfast your travel manager will escort you to airport for flight for your onwards journey.
