First of all any mountaineer wanting to attempt a peak in the Himalayas needs advance permission from the Central Government based in New Delhi . This is done by writing to the Indian Mountaineering Foundation which provides certain guidelines. This should be done at least three months in advance. The entire group should be covered by adequate insurance and a copy of this policy has to be handed over to the IMF while applying for permission. Druk International & Treks will take care of providing expert mountain porters or horses as the terrain details and will also take care of all camping and transport facilities.
